At its heart, Ubuntu is the love of Abantu. That is, the love of black people. In a world defined by the violent lash and lust for black flesh, the vulgar desire sustained for black bodies, Ubuntu insists on the love of black being, the love of black personhood. Ubuntu demands black love across time and space, reminding us that we are through those who've come before us, those who come with us, and those who'll come after us. When wе say a person's a person through other pеople, we mean to say, we are each others' harvest. What we sow in each other, we reap in ourselves. To love ourselves is to remember ourselves. This is the love of Abantu
