In the wideness of dreary wasteland
Distant from bomb-shattered huts
A litte boy walked towards the dark sky
With his sweet sister holding his hand
All the child had was his brotherly love
And his life, overshadowed with pain
And While he moved on towards a Fairyland
He cried out to release his complaint:
War has damaged our world
All for their greed for money and might and power
Searching for hope, for a sense
We set out for the great Fairyland
Once when his parents still were alive
They told him a story for hope:
After our life on this earth we´ll go
To a village behind the dark clouds
There´s a friendly, great Fairyland
Where everybody is glad
Smiling warm like the sun
We will live there hand in hand
War has damaged our world
All for their greed for money and might and power
Searching for hope, for a sense
We set out for the great Fairyland
Let us flee together, peacefully
Let´s escape from this world of war!
Life is giving death and death gives life
Oh death, please set me free!
