Leaf-hall burns high
With orange shifting flame
Autumn calls upon awakes
To pay the debt of life
The rumour of the slopes my
Thirsty soul now nurses
Down over snakelike
Winds the river
Heavily i travel blind
In the late dusk breeze
Wide mighty mountain-walls
Like a vast cathedral
The breath of the northern storm
Rebirths the frost
The cliffs form the dark
Dark temple hall.
Till fjälls, till fjälls
Where the storm embraces me
Till fjälls, till fjälls
Watched by ravens.
Against the horizon stands
Out the mountain's heights
Snow-adorned tops like
Pinnacles and towers
They show off against the sky
Crowding shine is satisfied
On pathless outlands
You hear the spirits horn.
Till fjälls, till fjälls
Where the storm embraces me
Till fjälls, till fjälls
Watched by ravens.
