What the hell do we know and what gives us the right
To have our own opinion about the things that we don't like?
We must be fucking crazy to say the things we say
And think we'll get away with it in any kind of way
There's lot's of things we don't know but we do know what we think
And no one has all the answers to every missing link
But everyone can do their share in lots of different ways
But it seems to be much easier to stick with old clichés
What the hell do we know, what gives us the right
To say what we think about the things that we don't like?
What the hell do we know, what gives us the right
To have our own opinion about the things we don't like?
So welcome to the henhouse, let's see who talks the most
Let's see who's got some good to say and who just want's to boast
Let's see who wants to drag us down so they can move on up
So they can say they know it all as if they gave a fuck
Well everyone's got questions and we've got a whole long list
And of course we need solutions to the problems that exist
But does that mean we're not allowed to say what we believe
Unless we have the answer to what everybody needs?
What the hell do we know, what gives us the right
To say what we think about the things that we don't like?
What the hell do we know, what gives us the right
To have our own opinion about the things we don't like?
So if you want to judge us you better judge yourself
And know you've more answers than everybody else
Cos' if you're so much better you must surely have a cure
That can make everything better than it ever was before
And if you don't I hope you understand you're just like us
And we don't like the silence so we're gonna make a fuss
We point out all the problems but we haven't worked them out
And if you say we can't you know that means we have to shout
