Well I went to the water to fetch me a drink,
And when I stooped down I felt my heart sink.
I felt the sea tremble, ripple and rise,
Cause there at the surface and to my surprise.
Well I dare never joke you or tell you no lie,
But staring at me was two big bloodshot eyes.
Well they came to me slowly, each eye two miles wide,
And when he poked out his head it blocked out the sky.
So a black sky got blacker, and it rained a red blood,
And the lowlands and the valleys all started to flood;
But just as the flood line come up to my chin,
I felt his sharp claws go into my skin.
And so clenched in his fist, he squeezed and he pulled,
And he laughed as my eyes popped out of my skull.
Well I begged him for mercy and I prayed to the son,
For the good lord to forgive all the bad things I'd done.
But as I implored him it rang clear as a bell,
That this big ugly devil fucker was the good lord himself.
So he raised me up slowly above the black clouds,
And threw my limp body into his big mouth.
Well his breath was a bastard and his tongue curled and clung,
As he shredded my skin and he plucked out my lungs.
Well he chewed and he grinded, such pain I'd not known,
And he swallowed my flesh and he spit out my bones
