I met this handsome man from fiji
Unlike the others was he
He gave me a map and when he pointed his finger at fiji said 'you should get out more. maybe take a tour'
Alright!
This handsome man was such a perfect remedy
He drove me down to a coastal town
I could not tell you where
He walked me into another world beneath the ocean
A kiss was waiting there
This oh so tender man from fiji said 'come away with me. there is another world on the other side of this one'
We drank two de-caff cappuccinos and walked for miles in the dark
He told me this tale about his father who walked on a fire...
The softest lips I ever knew
The longest kiss too
And when the day, that we spent, was over I was in a whirl
I thought 'is this a dream?'
This oh so very gentle man from fiji said 'come away with me. there is another world on the other side of this one'
But what would I do on the islands with palms and natives and sea
I'd tear out my hair
I wouldn't last for one minute in fiji
So here is where I'll stay with the memory of the day
