Souls for Sale ( part II )
Music: Ricardo Parronchi
Words: Douglas Vanuchi / Ricardo Parronchi
An old man's crying in the rain
He's looking at his pretty big house, he says:
I had everything that I wished but I know my heart's
empty
If Igot everything that could be gotten
Why am I feeling like a looser ?
If I already have so many friend's
Why am I feeling so lonely like somebody who's
Lost? like in a "bad dream" I can't wake up from
So you're thinking that you can buy everything
Or saving up the treasures on this land's enough
But you forget that all your gold shall be stolen
And all your clothes shall be eaten by the moths
And if tonight someone ask for your soul
And your eyes won't open anymore
What could you say?
What did you do?
Who did you do for?
Loose the knot, be free don't put your soul for sale
Because the Son can Still change your life The Father
shall forgive
All your mistakes, don't sell!
