See the City, Home for spirits
Slowly wake up yet another day
See the City home for people
The sparkling touch seems so far away, far away...
Men and women, little creatures
Turning pages try to stay alive
Nameless people, worried faces
Scared to win or loose
Afraid to live and die
Afraid to live afraid to die
Ask anyone of those people
"Are you happy with your life"?
You might get this answer
"I really don't know"!
Ask them once again
Is this what you want?
You might hear them say
I can't feel any more
Now look them in the eyes
Tell me what do you see?
Happiness? Happiness?
Security?
Do you sense the anguish?
Can you trace the fear?
There Is someone in pain perhaps it's the rain
But it looks just like tears
See the City, Home for spirits
Slowly wake up yet another day
See the City home for people
The sparkling touch seems so far away
Far away, seems so far away
So much has changed at the speed of light
When I try to look back with a second sight, I get lost
Remember collective "Together as one"
Ideals where so different, life was more fun, I think?
But now I can feel we have no common ground
We've gone too far
Although you speak with me I hear no sound
Alone is what You Are!
We're all individuals but nearly the same
We got basic needs it's part of the game of being humans
We like being close We like being seen
We like being touched that's how it has been, for some time
But now I can feel we're about to loose it all
It's gone to far
No one will hear your scream it's the final call
Alone is what You Are!
You Are
Alone with no one to talk to
You Are
Always on your own
You Are
Afraid to loose it all
You Are
It's the final call
