It's hard to talk about it
I'll try to do it well.
He couldn't live without it
Live without the swell,
He had no mother, no father
Only friends that pined away,
No girl, that was strong enough
To lead him on a better way.
He was alone in a world of confusion.
He was alone in a world of disillusion.
One early morning
He looked at the sparkling sky.
He packed up his things
And told the junk good bye!
He went on the road
With a rock'n roll band.
But nobody cared,
Nobody had a helping hand.
He tried to live with the others,
Almost saved from the gutter.
Sunglasses covered his eyes
And made them think that he was
Telling lies -
"I'm so sorry, that we treat you like a crazy fool,
I'm really sorry, that our hearts are freezing cold!
Back in town fixing dragged him to the ground.
There wasn't anybody
Who helped when he cried.
Nothing he'd got and nothing
He left behind,
So he died.
