You'll never know when that day will come
When you'll find the chance to help someone
Do not elect to waiver goodness I say
Then proclaim that it's just not on your way
Should you know only to do good things for pay
I know a line of work which follows this cliché
Too much on your mind don't let it lead astray
Lest you'll find yourself left in the cold one day
You'll never know when an angel will come into your life
So draw up a little water from the well
And lay down your false pride
Right in front of your eyes is the rest of your life
So what will you do? Will you walk away
Or will you greet it with a smile?
Whatever happened to the love for your neighbor?
Whatever happened to the words of the savior?
Luke chapter 6 verse 31 check your behavior
Your only need is your greed for your gleaming plunder
No one will lift a finger for another brother
How can you call yourself saved then still judge one another
You say you love but the truth is under your cover
The gift of giving is the only true world wonder
You can only live outside of the truth for so long
Until life itself just passes by
And I never known what I know now
Both truth and lies are in front of our eyes
So don't be blind, lay down your false pride
Add to your life, sing praises to the most high
The tongue that brings healing is a fountain of life so
Let the truth be told now
