Judas
Judas here, fair and square, what are you hoping to see?
I’ll give you parables obscure and open to interpretation, well,
it’s good enough for little old (me)
(Oh) What a pleasure to be
Dreaming, drowning, dreaming, all at sea,
Dou you Know what I mean? Christ! What have I done?
In, out, in, out, in, out, in, we breathe, and, with
Characteristc totality, we leave.
Out and about, we dream on all that is nice:
Atavism, heredity, foment, we dream on time,
Do you know what I mean? Christ! What have I done?
There was a bloke one time, who liked to keep his chums in line,
He took the lot on up a hill, and made them stoop to do his will,
He told them with an awesome frown, that lesser folk would knock him down,
But he would get on up some day, and come to take the pain away.
Nice up here, isn’t it?
Well, there’s a welcome to the ranks of the elite,
But a bitter taste lies under the sweet,
In a sliding world where nothing is sure,
Who can afford to turn away more? What a pleasure to be
Dreaming, drowning, dreaming, all at sea,
Do you know what I mean? Christ! What have I done?
The was a time
Folk drove their cars
Up my arse.
