Flor Pálida
I came across a flower one day in my path
That looked withered and without petals
Almost pale now, drowned in a sigh
I took it to my garden to care for it
That flower with sleeping petals
That I care for today with all my soul
Recuperated the colour it had lost
Because it found a carer to water it
I gave it a little love
I wrapped it in my soul
And in the winter I gave it heat
So that it wouldn't be harmed
Today I am the owner of that flower
And I've promised to care for it
So that nobody steals its colour
So that it never leaves
So many things came from that flower
The love that had been lost was born
And with the sunlight the shadows went
And with the shadows, the distance and oblivion
I gave it a little love
I wrapped it in my soul
And in the winter I gave it heat
So that it wouldn't be harmed
Today I am the owner of that flower
And I've promised to care for it
So that it's always near to me
So that it never leaves
(So that it never leaves
So that it never leaves
So that it never leaves)
(So that it never leaves)
I gave it affection, a little love
(So that it never leaves)
And in the winter it filled my garden with colour
(So that it never leaves)
Ay, when I saw it, I fell it love with it and I took it, I took it
