Rows and columns
Labeling all substance
A blind stab in the dark at structures
All science demolished by itself
A missile awakened in the half light
As the sun bursts on the earth itself
Charred bone fragments and singed hair
The smell of death lingers in the air
Repeating cough of a crushed windpipe
While children crawl with no legs
Leaving bloody mucus trails
Scraping bone on cement
Skinned by fire
Baptism of spirit
Hell fire, brimstone, yeah
Sulfur smells from a heap of flesh green membranes
And jells ooze suckin in your last breath of life
And fade to black such sleek birds of prey
The war paint of missiles red white and blue swallowing all portions of earth
In seconds a quickened beating on heaven's door
Refused for rights of passage
After all this was your fault
Ignorance won't save you
You could have done something, anything
Carrying around a bumper sticker didn't help
Hypocrisy, democracy, complacency, bureaucra
