A new order dawns
The moon of old draws down amidst the starts
I sip the last of its power, I bathe in its final gleams
From the dark my power was drawn
From the fathomless waters emanated my misanthropy
Now the old world burns, by the rays of the red dawn
The sun never shone so bright before
The morning never felt so still
Night’s cold embrace used to soothe me
Yet this heat feels as frost to me
The flesh is weak thus the will remains pure
True strength is elusive for human sense
Mundane earthly triumph is in vain
Spirit of the moon, the carrier of thought
Grant us the darkness of light, reveal your mysteries
Unravel the blurring veil
That for so long has plagued your children
Dissolve yahweh’s opium from my veins
Let my eyes overflow with salty tears
I shall let my vessel carry your fire
My actions shall your gleam reflect
Bestow your cathartic flame upon us
…and let humanity fail once again
