Beyond the North I slept, caressed by the pale I dreamt
My translucent tears eclipsed by a myriad of wings
Though hidden from the sun I was burned
Blinded by what eyes were not meant to see
I saw the dawn of an endless night
I saw the moon chasing the sun
I saw the frost cover white wings
I saw the goat eating the lamb
Through curtains of darkness an infinity rejoiced
As I was but a knot on this tapesty
Choking on my own sorrow
I dug deeper into my veins
Under starless fields I grinned
A cheerful smile granted by this dismal vision
As the great Babylon would fall under a storm on damnation
These brooding clouds of melancholy would never part
And I would stand in the midst of it all laughing
This desolate world leaving me whole
Flurries my only blanket I went back to sleep
Nor light nor goodness would ever touch me again
