The king described a glorious steed
Faster than any before
A far away kingdom
Which contained the treasure
Ruled by a wise and cunning lord
If conall and his three sons
Could snatch the beast away
Their debt would be paid
The yellow handed hero agreed
Though he knew that it was
A fool's errand they were on
The horse in question was well guarded
As a prized possession which
Would not be had without a fight
But seek they did this splendid animal
And each in turn were captured
For their crimes, this lord declared
The sons would hang
The father spared
For his notable reputation
Conall did plead for the lives of his sons
And the king considered his words and spoke
'The loss of your sons is painful
If you can tell me
When you have faced a thing more dire
I will return your children!
