Barry Zekelman: So there’s no question the price of domestic steel has gone up, which has helped the domestic steel industry, which is where it needs to be. There’s a healthy price, right? There’s too low and too high. So there’s a healthy price where you can make nice returns and invest in equipment and invest in the industry. We’ve certainly seen that on our product. The tariffs are definitely having an effect, the issue we
still have is now that the price of
domestic steel has gone up Chinese steel
still infiltrates everyone says China
doesn't import a lot yeah they do they
do it's all back door it's all black
them all so they're still using that
steel to go through Thailand through
Taiwan the worst
unfortunately in South Korea and you
believe they pound a lot of skew we're
doing a big number for that can you
believe but so the tariffs are so they
do the dren shipping right yes so
they're trained shipping what steel
China's to Chinese steel primarily South
Korea Thailand mostly all right you know
how we ever got involved in South Korea
in the first place you don't tell
anybody how we ended up in a Korean War
if I want Korean war to keep these I
mean one of the toughest traders we do
business with they're probably tougher
than China they're just more you know so
the numbers are smaller we have a thirty
two billion dollar deficit with South
Korea Wow and then they say well you
know people I asked the general so why
do you think we're doing this serves for
trade I said loosen five hundred billion
dollars you know that area so we're
doing good for trade but we'll listen

we're losing 32 billion words out there
so it's uh it's crazy but you know it is

the quotas are that are the key we

enough steel in this quadrant

have to compete to buy that steel and I

be in the point where I don't have steel

prices going up in this deal industry
being held because if I don't have them
I'm dead but the quotas throttle it back
enough where we can sit there and have

could have never negotiated because

put quotas on China subsidized is this

because they'll put more money into it

more money and we take in a lot of money
